Intervention
Do we need an intervention?
Often the family needs guidance as much as the addict. Integrity’s program requires one or two meetings with family members in order to educate them on what to do. It is imperative that the family addresses the way they react to the addict’s manipulation, drama, and crisis. We understand the concerns that brought you here are life threatening and require immediate change. Integrity will sit down with the family and discuss the different levels of care, cost, and recommendations for your particular case. Next, we will meet with the addict/alcoholic and formulate the most effective way to get him or her to the appropriate treatment. Once we are in agreement, Integrity will transport the client to most facilities via door-to-door service. If the client’s aftercare is with Integrity, we will pick them up and meet with the therapist to ensure continuity of treatment.
There is no guarantee that anyone who struggles with addiction will fully commit to recovery. Interventions are for the family members as much as the addict. The family and support system must recognize this and acknowledge their own part in the problem.
